Have you been struggling with weight loss? Afraid of taking stimulant drugs for weight loss that can only be taken short term? Are there any traditional weight-loss medications that you should avoid? Do you have prediabetes? Have you been considering bariatric surgery?
Well, it’s time you checked out a new, FDA approved medication for weight loss – Semaglutide Sodium.
This product is 100% FDA Approved! Please visit the FDA website here for more information.
Semaglutide Sodium is a member of a class of drugs that have been used for diabetes management for over a decade – GLP1-RAs (glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonists). The weight loss effects of these agents have been known for some time, however, Semaglutide Sodium appears to be the “best-in-class” GLP-1 RA for weight loss and was recently approved for weight loss by the FDA under the brand name Wegovy®.
How Does Semaglutide Sodium Work ?
Semaglutide Sodium mimics the effect of “feeling full” resulting in a decreased caloric intake. Semaglutide Sodium will delay gastric emptying by reducing glucagon secretion in a glucose-dependent manner. The delay in gastric emptying can reduce appetite, improve control of eating, and reduce food cravings.
Semaglutide Sodium is also known as GLP-1 and is a hormone (a natural chemical in the body) that is produced in the small intestine. It stimulates insulin secretion (which then allows cells to take up glucose) and inhibits glucagon secretion (which prevents more glucose from going into the bloodstream) to lower blood sugar levels.

How Is Semaglutide Sodium Administered ?
It is a once-weekly subcutaneous injection. While some of you may be afraid of injections, these are actually quite straightforward injections with a VERY SMALL needle into the abdominal area (like insulin injections). There are big advantages to the once-weekly dosing – you don’t have to remember your medications and the Semaglutide is working 24/7 suppressing your appetite without the stimulant effects of typical weight loss medication.
Semaglutide is given as a shot under the skin of your stomach, thighs, or upper arm. Use a different body area each time you give yourself a shot. Keep track of where you give each shot to make sure you rotate body areas.

Does Semaglutide Sodium Have Side Effects?
Common side effects may include:
Low Blood Sugar (in people with type 2 diabetes), Upset Stomach, Heartburn, Burping, Gas, Bloating Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Loss of Appetite, Diarrhea, Constipation, Stomach Flu Symptoms, Headache, Dizziness, Tiredness.

Are You A Candidate For Semaglutide Sodium ?
If your BMI does not quite meet those numbers, you may still qualify if your body composition shows excess fat.
IS THERE ANYONE THAT CANNOT TAKE SEMAGLUTIDE SODIUM ?
There are very few circumstances in which Semaglutide should not be used. Patients with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or in patients with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2) should not take Semaglutide.
Does Insurance Cover Semaglutide Sodium ?
Wegovy is an FDA approved once weekly injectable medication for weight loss. Unfortunately, because it was just approved by the FDA in the summer of 2021, Semaglutide is not covered by most Medicare and insurance plans, but manufacturer and pharmacy coupons can help offset the cost. It currently is very expensive (approx. $1300 a month).
However, Semaglutide Sodium, the active ingredient in Wegovy, can be compounded by a specialized pharmacy and shipped to your door.
I Can’t Afford That, Is there any other way ?
We have access to Semaglutide from a FDA Approved Compounding Pharmacy for on-going use. The cost of the Starter Program is $299.00 for the first 7 Weeks. (Look at it as $43.00 Per week) THE PRICE INCLUDES GENERIC SEMAGLUTIDE SODIUM
